A brilliant Howarth Academy Student bassoon with a Moosmann P2W crook and BAM Case.

This is an ideal instrument for any bassoonist wishing to take a more serious approach to the bassoon, especially with the intention of attending music college or for someone who wants a reliable, fantastic sounding instrument at a great price.

This bassoon was bought new in 2012 and has been looked after very well, it took the owner through 4 years of an undergraduate degree in music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

The owner has recently bought a professional bassoon and as such now needs to sell the Howarth Academy bassoon.

This bassoon is made in Germany by Moosmann, and is based on the design of professional models of the same maker. It has a full, warm and singing tone with excellent intonation across the range of the instrument.

• Left thumb crook lock
• extra low C touch
• 4 rollers
• removed Bb for right hand 3rd finger to reduce the spread of right hand fingers
• lined finger holes
• the wing joint and both sides of the boot joint are lined for extra protection
• high D key
• **extra high E key added on** (cost £200)
• **Moosmann PW2 crook** in great condition (bought for £490)
• Serviced last year by a bassoon technician
